Nick Wilkins

After being born on THAT day back in 1985, I started schooling at Claires Court school in Maidenhead, where I stayed on 'til I was 17 and gained 10 GCSEs and 3 A levels. Much more important than this though, I was also captain of the school football team in the sixth form.



What I really wanted to be was a radio DJ, and when I was 16 I was given my first set of decks and a mixer. This is when I really started my drive to get into the radio business.



Later that year I joined a local radio station on work experience, and numerous cups of teas and coffees later I finally had the chance to do a show. I then moved on to weekday evenings.



I have a number of role models in the radio industry but the biggest is my mum and my family, I love you lots xx.



I love my music and my sport, my favourite band is without doubt U2, love Razorlight, Arctic Monkeys!, Duran Duran, some Human League action and Prince sometimes! Also like my music lots so always listening to local artists or up coming bands.



I'm always playing sport whenever I can in my spare time especially football, being a true blue Chelsea fan. 



 I also find myself to be a social person and enjoy going out with my mates whenever we get time to meet up.  Mine's a TETLEY'S....... even though I don't drink you can't turn down an extra cold, extra smooth Bitter!
